I wonder what the biggest snowflake ever was…
– Text from Claire Bear, who shares in my love of wondering.
It must be snowing in Minnesota.
My iTunes Celebrity Playlist
“Fuzzy” - The Incredible Moses Leroy: When I was in high school, I found this single at Cheapo for 99 cents. I obviously bought it because the song was called “Fuzzy” and the front of the case was covered in pink fur.
“La La La” – The Bird and the Bee: Time machines and tangerines! This song makes me want to dance around in a circle.
“No One’s Gonna Love You” – Band of...
This is overdue. Also, self explanatory.
And now that I think of it, I see lots of similarities between you and Gob.
– Compliment of the day from Mr. Schwenn.

Cut it out
I didn’t have to work today, so I decided to take a stroll up to 30th Avenue to get my hair cut. Thirty minutes later, I left with the “Carol Brady.”
I hate long layers and always make it a point of telling my stylists this. Unfortunatly, I got Mrs. Scissorhands. This woman stared into my eyes more than at where she was chopping.
I’m trying to embrace this, but...
Color
Saw this - loved it. I love color.
Above are Kitty’s new bronze boots, taken before we made our way up to see the explosion of color. The exhibit was a lot for our eyes, we all had mini headaches afterwards. But then we got hot dogs on the street and that made our heads (and bellies) happily healed.
I bought some cowboy boots, too. I like them a lot.
Master of the Web
I’m learning this at work. It’s exciting. I feel like the little man on my tutorial videos just told me a bunch of top secrets.

Give me more!
I Netflixed the shizz out of Friday Night Lights after hearing some very intense and passionate reviews. I just finished the first four episodes and now find myself very anxious. I might not be able to sleep until the next disk arrives. But if I do, I will be dreaming of Matt Saracen.

Fwd: BFF!!!
I love you to DEATH!!! Today is bestfriend day!!! Send to twelve friends you couldn’t live without.
I got my first text forward today from my bestie. I’m still wondering who she forwarded it to first. Was it me?
Are you crying?
– My personal trainer during last night’s session. I wasn’t, but I did a few hours later. Just one or two tears.
Bus, bus, plane, tram, plane, shuttle, bus, long...
I spent my entire day traveling. It wasn’t too bad, but I would like to confirm how much I don’t like Delta Airlines. They lie. I flew on broke down planes that didn’t serve martinis or have personal televisions. Change, Delta. Really?
Midwestern transportation
A boy just walked into Espresso Royale with his Segway. Now he’s reading a book at a table with his Segway sitting across from him. I wish I had an iPhone to capture this magical moment.
A tree grows in Queens
After completing my State Tax Returns this year, I felt as though I had just been slapped in the face. After all New York and I have been through, I got FIVE DOLLARS back. I mean really, is that all I’m worth? I’ve been gloomy and sad about this for weeks. But my gloominess has just subsided. Why? Because soon there will be a nice little tree planted right outside my apartment. New...
Roomie love
If you know me well, you know that I got a new job. And I’m really excited about it. Because I have such a nice and thoughtful roommate, she sent me the above card and is taking me on a celebratory date tonight. We’re going out for nachos and then to see Step Up 2 (and Semi-Pro if we can sneak in afterwards).
