In between drinking the rainy day away at the village pourhouse and waiting for nora to take us to an us weekly party, mc and I decided to make a pit stop at my apartment so I could change. After picking up some Italian pastries we decided we needed a couple 40s to wash it all down. But on our way to my local bodega, we passed a karaoke bar. Of course we had to go in. We started off strong with love shack, then faltered a bit after mc’s ridiculously awkward Usher’s Nice and Slow request. But we regained all of our footing with a rousing rendition of Proud Mary. After, the owner asked if we wanted to perform on Circle Line Cruises every other Friday nite. Of course we do!
As we left, mc said it best: “This just proves we can make anything fun!”
Yes, we’ve got second jobs. We were truly born to entertain.
