Oldies, not goodies

A few years ago I decided I was going to train for the marathon, so I bought some nice running shoes. Then I broke my toe and turned 21. That training was short lived.

A few months ago while stretching before rebounding, I noticed two little holes in my shoes. My baby toes could just pop right out. I shrugged it off until my knees started hurting and instead of correlating it with too much jump rope in boxing class, I realized I’ve probably ran over 10,000 miles in my current 3-year-old tennies.

So after grabbing a salad at Whole Foods for lunch, I went into DSW and bought a pair of pink running shoes for $50 - usually $100. Wonder how long they’ll last?
