Forgets

This morning I got a text from Kara explaining how she forgot it was her boyfriend’s birthday, so she can’t make it my birthday/Kiley’s going away BBQ at Claire’s house on Saturday. She can come to the after party, though. I called her to get details - I mean, how do you forget your boyfriend’s birthday? They LIVE together. Kara goes: I’m just really excited you’re coming into town and I forgot. You’re coming TOMORROW. It’s surreal.
