Woke up to this. Showered, checked my e-mail, ate a poached egg. As I started pulling my purse together and locating my winter boots, I got a text from my co-worker instructing me to work from home.

I usually don’t like working from home, but today I do. The chunky flakes floating on the other side of my bedroom window are pretty. I started writing my to-do list at 8am, and have already accomplished five of my tasks. I’m drinking my third cup of coffee, cross-legged in bed.

Although it’s March 2, and I’m totally ready for Spring, I like the mood the snow has put me in.
